英語の歌詞がまちまちで、まず肝心のサビ１回目が「 As I of the mourning now go 」説と「 As I of the mourning now come 」説があって意味が逆になるので微妙ですが、聴いて合っていると思った歌詞を選択しています。またmourning（悲嘆・喪）とmorning（朝）もよく混同されています。それにしても立ち直っているのか立ち直っていないのか、支離滅裂感の強い歌詞ではあります。
意味の解釈は英語フォーラムでも割れていて、ビリーの母親の死に関するものという意見や、または音楽への回帰に関するものではないか、など色々ありましたが、 定説はなさそう？？メランコリックな曲調が染み入るようで、落ち込んでいるときについ聴いてしまいます。
冒頭から繰り返されている「ラジオ」ですが、YouTube出現前の2000年のアルバムなので、音楽ストリーミング的な位置ではラジオはまだ主流だった頃かなと思われます。
